Low budget horror film actress Lisa Cook stars as herself in this series of horror shorts comprised of her own nightmares. Lisa dreams of various serial killers, slashers, creatures and other horrors that terrorize her in her sleep.
These movies seem to be in SOME aspect fetishistic. In the case of Lisa's Nightmares, the entire film's purpose seems to be to appease belly fetishists. The movie is repetition. The nightmares mainly consist of scenes of Lisa working out, cleaning house, cooking dinner, washing the car, stripping, showering and then being attacked by a POV killer who has a thing for navels. Most of the death scenes involve Lisa either being stabbed or shot in the belly button, which was due to the fact that many of these vignettes actually came from a custom naval fetish video Cook produced for a fan.
After eating too much Halloween candy, Homer, Lisa, and Bart have nightmares. Lisa's nightmare. In Lisa's nightmare, the Simpsons visit Morocco. Homer purchases a monkey paw that will grant four wishes. He ignores the vendor when he warns against using it because it brings a curse of misfortune to the holder.
Lisa is the first Nightmare heroine that kissed Freddy Krueger, followed by Alice Johnson in The Dream Child. Followed by Maggie Burroughs, Heather Langenkamp Porter, Lori Campbell, and Nancy Holbrook, Lisa is the first Nightmare heroine to defeat Freddy and not appear or be mentioned again in the following films.
